philanthropy
Our chapter has partnered with the Chatham-Kent Safety Village and together we founded a week long girl's summer day camp to help empower young girls. We work with the safety village as camp leaders and run different activities throughout the week. The camp is run twice a summer.
During the week, the Safety Village brings in different women and organizations, such as doctors, sports teams, chefs, etc. to share different careers and aspirations with the campers. The camp teaches young girls to believe in their dreams and that they can do anything!
